Research of Bedowski (2006) stresses the importance of tuning the digital learning materials and educational vision of a school. Without such a tuning, a school will risk that IT investments will barely yield (Kennisnet 2008). IT policy is never isolated, but is always part of a vision upon education, and the concrete implementation of it in the classroom. Effective use of IT contributes greatly to the improvement of education. Integration of IT into the educational process is thus essential. To achieve e proper integration, the preconditions and the level of IT development needs to be properly mapped. IT goals are better achievealbe with good preconditions at your school.
